Epiphany Explorers December Meeting
At the monday, 12/10, afterschool meeting of
the Epiphany Explorers, the kids played orienteering games to
practice skills used in the wilderness.
They learned
to measure distances by counting their paces,
to read a compass
and to follow a heading to a destination.
The kayak outing was discussed and a plan proposed. This week-end, December 15 & 16, will be available for kayaking. Please call (719-6902) or email to
let us know whether you plan to attend either Saturday or Sunday.
If there is interest, we will camp at the park Saturday night to
be there both days.
