The
Explorers Club is an organization for families of Epiphany students to
join together to share their love for the outdoors. A parent or
designated guardian must attend the outings and supervise the children
they bring. |
||
There
will be at least one family outing per month. Outings may be
one day, or overnight. Families may choose to participate in as
much or as little as they wish. Safety, stewardship of the Earth and its resources, and enjoyment of the many natural wonders that North Florida has to offer is the focus of the club. |

Museums |
Activities may include hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, camping, swimming, fishing, orienteering, geocaching, museums, kite flying, and more depending on the interests of the students and parents. Families are encouraged to suggest and plan activites to share with the group. Community service projects, especially outdoor cleanups, provide opportunities to teach important values. | Geocaching |
Stewardship activities will be reinforced at school with the 4 "R"s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse. Stewardship of the Earth and all its resources, living and non-living, is a Biblical priciple. | ||
