Directions for the Florida Trail Hike in the Osceola National Forest
on Saturday, March 6, 2010

Finally, the Christmas Party photos are available.
I took so many is was difficult to whittle them down to a managable number.
Please accept my apology for the delay.

We have to cancel the Suwanee River Trip.
The river is flooded and sections are closed. Also there
has been no response from anyone planning to go.

We will have a short hike in the Osceola National Forest on Saturday, March 5th. We will customize the hike to the desires of the participants.

Are you up the taking the Explorers Osceola Challenge?

Unfortunately the first Osceola Hike had short notice.
We did have a small turn out. (Photos)

Hiking	Are you interested in the outdoors? Would you like to share you interest with your family and others?	Kayaking
Canoeing	The Explorers Club is a school based activity for students K-8. A parent or designated guardian must come on the outings and be responsibile for their children.	Camping
Orienteering	There will be at least one family outing per month. Outings may be one day, or overnight. Families may choose to participate in as much or as little as they wish. Safety, stewardship of the Earth and its resources, and enjoyment of the many natural wonders that North Florida has to offer will be the focus of the club.	Biking
Museums	Activities may include hiking, biking, canoeing, kayaking, camping, fishing, orienteering, geocaching, museums, and kite flying as well as others, depending on the interests of the students and parents.	Geocaching
	Stewardship activities will be reinforced at school with the 4 "R"s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Refuse. Stewardship of the Earth and all its resources, living and non-living, is a Biblical priciple.
